Poker For a Cause brings Calgary’s business community together around a poker table, with every event raising money for local organizations doing work that matters.
Most networking events give you ninety seconds with someone before the next handshake. A few hours at the same table gives you a real conversation. Founders, operators, investors and community leaders sit down together, play a few hands, and leave knowing each other better than any mixer allows.
Every event is run with professional dealers in a seated tournament format, so first-timers are just as welcome as seasoned players. Expect prizes throughout the night, a raffle, good food, and a room full of people worth knowing.
Our first event is the Business Community Poker Classic on Friday, November 13 at the Calgary Petroleum Club, with proceeds going to Niitoiyis Family Support Society and Vecova.
The community is hosted by Thrive Creative Inc. Join to hear about upcoming tournaments, grab your seat early, and help us grow the pot for Calgary causes.
