Andrea Williams

Andrea Williams is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream in U of T’s Writing & Rhetoric Program. Her work explores how people learn to write across disciplines, how writing can be taught more effectively, and the role language plays in social and political change. A recipient of U of T’s 2020 Arts & Science Outstanding Teaching Award, Andrea brings a practical, thoughtful perspective on writing with purpose, clarity, and confidence.
